What are the differences between the Model 01+ and the Model 01?

The 01+ has 512MB of memory instead of 256, 30GB HD instead of 20, USB 2.0 instead of 1.1 and an internal speaker. For more details, go to our "01+: what's new" page here


How can I enter information inside the OQO?


several ways:

-via the integrated qwerty keyboard whihc also contains a trackstik
-by pen input directly on the screen using a natural character recognition utility, or using Windows XP's on-screen keyboard.

-via any standard USB keyboard connected to the computer's USB input

There's no CDROM!

Yes, but it wouldn't be that small if it had a CDROM drive.

You can use any external usb or firewire CD/DVD drive with it.
Even better, you can use a DVD emulator software like Alcohol 120% to simulate such a drive inside the OQO and copy video DVD's or CDROM's to the computer's hard disk. See the accessories page of the OQO for more





This solution also permits to store video DVD on your OQO's hard disk for playback on the go.
