OQO Model 01+ TabletPC Edition 2005





OQO released a new software variant of the OQO Model 01+:
the 01+ Windows XP TabletPC Edition 2005.

This model benefits from the standard features of XP TabletPC, mainly the integration of Microsoft's handwriting recognition utility in many parts of the OS.

The 01+ hardware features are unchanged: 800x480 5" display, 30GB HD, 512MB RAM, USB2, built-in speaker, Crusoe 1GHz Intel-compatible CPU.

OQO screen, 90 degrees rotation



Thanks to driver and firmware updates (available for download from OQO's support page) for both the Model 01 and 01+, some extra functions have appeared such as screen rotation and the possibility to switch the Bluetooth module off in the OQO manager. 









A new nylon and leather folding case is also available for the OQO (Model 01 and 01+), made by Tumi.
